Two careers. Real results. No guesswork.
Great investment strategies don't automatically translate into institutional traction.
The managers who win in today's allocator market aren't just the ones with the strongest track records. They're the ones who can articulate a point of view that shifts how investors see the opportunity.
The difference is rarely the strategy. It's the infrastructure around it: how a manager tells their story, how they manage their pipeline, how they show up in front of allocators, and whether their team has the bandwidth and expertise to execute consistently.
CrownRidge Advisory exists to close that gap. We work with fund managers at critical inflection points (launching, growing, or repositioning) to build the investor relations and business development capabilities that support long-term institutional growth.
Performance opens the door. Institutional narrative determines whether you get invited back. Today's allocators aren't struggling to find competent managers. They're looking for managers who can show them something new: a sharper lens on the opportunity, a clearer articulation of the edge.
We don't act as a placement agent and don't provide LP introductions. We build the narrative, the infrastructure, and the institutional capability that makes you worth meeting and remembering.
What Sets a CrownRidge Engagement Apart
Our founders have spent their careers working inside and alongside alternative investment firms, giving us a practitioner's perspective that other consultants simply cannot replicate.
Deep Industry Expertise
Careers spent inside and alongside alternative investment firms: a practitioner's perspective.
Specialized Focus
Built exclusively for alternative investment managers. We understand both the pressures managers face and the standards allocators demand.
Senior-Level Engagement
Every engagement is led personally by a founder. Seasoned IR and BD judgment without the full-time commitment.
A Holistic Perspective
Experience from both sides of the LP/GP relationship, surfacing insights your internal team may not be positioned to see.
An Enduring Partnership
We build durable internal capability, not dependency. Your team leaves stronger long after we've finished working together.
Strategic Advisory, Not Placement
We don't act as a placement agent, so our advice is always entirely in your strategic interest, not driven by transaction fees.
Our Story
"When they sat down together for the first time, the conversation was immediate and energizing."
Natalie and Anne each came to this work from different corners of the alternatives industry, but with a shared experience: they had both built and led best-in-class IR and BD programs at exceptional managers. They knew what great looked like from the inside. CrownRidge is the result: a firm built on the belief that great investment strategies deserve the institutional infrastructure to match.
Two careers. One conviction.
Natalie and Anne met through a mutual friend at a moment when both were on sabbatical, each thinking carefully about what they wanted their next chapter to look like. What emerged was a natural partnership grounded in complementary experience, shared conviction, and an opportunity to build something the market needed.
Co-Founder & Co-CEO
Natalie began her career at Lehman Brothers, where she developed foundational expertise working with institutional clients across fixed income sales and capital markets. She transitioned into institutional investor relations at GoldenTree Asset Management, building LP relationships across endowments, foundations, family offices, and private wealth platforms.
She subsequently joined Fiduciary Trust, where she helped build their dedicated family office capabilities and worked alongside the manager due diligence team in support of the firm's OCIO platform.
Prior to founding CrownRidge, she spent four years at TrueBridge Capital Partners as Principal and Head of US Business Development, where she played a key role in growing the firm from $3B to $9B in AUM, supporting the flagship strategy to oversubscription and the launch of three new fund strategies.

Co-Founder & Co-CEO
Anne began her career at UBS before spending over a decade at EJF Capital, rising to Partner as she led the firm's investor relations and business development efforts. Over 13 years, she was a key architect of the infrastructure that helped scale EJF from a startup to a multi-strategy platform managing over $9B, spanning hedge funds, closed-end private funds, real estate, and UCITS vehicles.
She subsequently served as Managing Director of Business Development at 1623 Capital, repositioning the hedge fund as an institutional-grade product.
She then joined iConnections as part of the executive team, leading the firm's global Investor Relations team and building a structured manager advisory program that helped firms generate better fundraising outcomes. She went on to co-found CrownRidge Advisory alongside Natalie, bringing that same practitioner's perspective to clients across the alternative investment landscape.
